Buy the Terry Coat sewing pattern from Bara Studio. Terry is a long coat with a collar and belt. The coat can be sewn with or without a lining.

Suggested fabrics: 

Outer fabric: Coat fabrics made of wool, cotton or blends. For Variation 1, a coat fabric that does not fray at the edges is recommended.

Lining fabric (Variation 2): Taffeta, viscose lining, etc.

Fabric requirements: If you are pattern matching, your fabric consumption may be higher.

Variation 1 (without facings and lining): 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.10 - 2.65 m.

Variation 2 (with facings and lining): 1.40 m wide fabric: Outer, 2.50 - 2.75 m // Lining, 1.20 - 1.30 m.

Sizing: XS – XL (approx. UK 6 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: Light to medium weight interfacing for Variation 2 (0.90 m wide), 1.40 - 1.50 m; matching thread.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (75 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 long sheets).

Not worth it

I am not happy with this pattern, I did not enjoy making it. There are no instructions for view 1 or the sleeveless vest option, which means that you have to figure out how to reverse right/wrong sides yourself if you make a version without facings. It is a pain and not worth it. The pattern instructions are poorly translated to english, and quite confusing. There is a video tutorial, it helps a little. Better to use the german instructions and google translate yourself if you decide on making this. The sizing does not match body measurements given in the table; it runs very small! According to the pattern sizing, I should have been a M/L bust and a XL hip, but when I measured the actual pattern pieces I realised I had to cut XL for bust and grade up the hip. Sadly it is not size inclusive, only goes up to size XL.

I only give it two stars because the design is cute and looks like the picture once finished.
