Buy the Baby/Child/Teen David Raincoat Lining Extension Pack sewing pattern from Bobbins and Buttons. This extension pack includes a lining pattern and instructions for making a lined version of the David Raincoat.

Note: This is not a complete pattern. It only includes the lining. You must already own the original David Raincoat pattern to use this extension pack.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics:

Main fabric: Laminated cotton, polyurethane and coated cotton. While this pattern is designed to be made in rainproof fabric, you could also make this style as a lightweight summer coat in fabrics like cotton drill and denim.

Lining: Lining fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

Main fabric with lining: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1.6 – 2.3 m (1.7 – 2.5 yd) // 135 cm (53″) wide fabric: 1.7 – 2.5 m (1.85 – 2.7 yd).

Lining: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1 – 1.6 m (1.1 – 1.7 yd).

Sizing: 12 months – 14 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Wonderclips; masking tape; open-end chunky zipper; bias binding.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (16 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
