They have a slim-fitting design with the characteristic harem dropped crotch. There are options for three-piece colour blocking on the legs, a through pocket and a faux drawstring.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight 2- or 4-way stretch knit fabric such as cotton/Lycra french terry or sweatshirt fleece. 10% – 50% stretch is ideal. Cotton/elastane jersey can also be used. Cotton/Lycra jersey or cotton/Lycra ribbing for the cuffs.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 20 – 80 cm (1/4 – 7/8 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Waistband elastic: up to 0-3 months = maximum of 40.5 cm (16″) of 25 mm (1″) wide elastic, 3-6 months – age 2 = maximum of 49.5 cm (19 1/2″) of 38 mm (1 1/2″) wide elastic, ages 3 – 12 = maximum of 62 cm (24 1/2″) of 50 mm (2″) wide elastic // Faux drawstring option: Maximum 30 cm (12″) drawstring cord and a scrap of light/medium fusible interfacing.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (16 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
