Buy the Poppy and Cara Summer Dress sewing pattern from Atelier Jupe. Poppy is an elegant summer dress with an elasticated waistline and shoulder straps. Or maybe you would prefer making Poppy’s little sister Cara, the same pattern but with cap sleeves and a back strap. The different skirts and bodices allow you to mix and match to make a unique summer dress!
This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:
– PAPER (next working day dispatch on orders and FREE UK delivery over £50). Note for the PAPER pattern: The pattern pieces overlap and are printed on both sides of the sheet, so you will need to trace the pattern. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the PDF or copy shop version as the pieces do not overlap.
– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?
– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?
Suggested fabrics: Fabrics with a fluid drape. Think viscose, tencel or a non-static polyester. Avoid sturdy fabrics such as heavy cotton.
Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Cara with A-line skirt, 225 – 300 cm // Poppy with asymmetric skirt, 150 – 230 cm.
Sizing: EU 34 – 50 (approx. UK 8/10 – 22/24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Iron-on interfacing, 40 cm; 7 mm wide elastic, 58 – 90 cm.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (36 pages for Poppy, 32 pages for Cara); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for Poppy, 2 sheets for Cara). The PDF pattern shows both cutting and stitching lines for each size. Use the layers function in Adobe Acrobat Reader to print only the size(s) you need.
