Buy the Ava Summer Dress sewing pattern from Atelier Jupe. You can wear Ava to the park on a warm summer day, but equally well to the office or a party. Ava has a button placket and a collar with a stand. The front and back are cut above the bust and gathered for a loose fit. Ava is sleeveless, but folded cuffs cover your shoulders. The belt creates a shaped waist, but you can also wear Ava without it for a more casual look. And yes, it has pockets!

Note for the PAPER pattern: The pattern pieces overlap and are printed on both sides of the sheet, so you will need to trace the pattern. If you prefer a ready-to-cut pattern, try the PDF or copy shop version as the pieces do not overlap.
– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?
– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?
Suggested fabrics: Choose a fabric with a fluid drape like viscose, cotton, tencel, double gauze, linen…
Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: 215 – 310 cm.
Sizing: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 8/10 – 24/26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Iron-on interfacing, 40 cm; nine buttons, approx. 12 mm diameter.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (44 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
The PDF pattern shows both cutting and stitching lines for each size. Use the layers function in Adobe Acrobat Reader to print only the size(s) you need.
