Buy the Hive Pullover sewing pattern from Allie Olson. The Hive Pullover is a boxy knit sweatshirt with two views. View A offers an angled front yoke with a centre front zipper, while View B offers a simple mock neck collar. Both views are easy fitting with dropped shoulders, forward shoulder seams, cuffed sleeves, and a semi-cropped length with a waistband.

Suggested fabrics: The Hive Pullover should be sewn using mid- to heavyweight stretch knit fabrics with at least 20% cross grain stretch. French terry, sweatshirt fleece, and sweater knits weighing 10-12 oz/yd² are recommended. Ribbing may be used for the cuffs and waistband, but is not required.

Fabric requirements: Additional fabric may be required for directional prints or print matching. Please note: Sizes 22-32 must be sewn with 54″ or wider fabric to accommodate the width of the sleeve head and waistband. Size 30 requires 60″ or wider fabric to accommodate the width of the waistband. Size 32 will require side seams to be inserted in the waistband unless fabric wider than 61″ is used.

45″ (115 cm) wide fabric (sizes 00-20 only): 2 – 2 3/4 yd (1.8 – 2.5 m).

54″ (137 cm) or wider fabric: 2 – 2 3/4 yd (1.8 – 2.5 m).

Sizing: US 00 – 32 (approx. UK 6/8 – 32/34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The Hive Pullover is drafted for a height of 5’6″ (168 cm). This design has several inches of positive ease through the body and sleeves. Choose a size based on your full bust measurement and grade between sizes as necessary.
