Buy the 503 Poiret Cocoon Coat sewing pattern from Folkwear. This fully lined cocoon coat was designed around 1913-1919 by Paul Poiret, a renowned early 20th century designer. It features batwing sleeves, a one piece front/back body, neckband and hobble skirt. The style is timeless and looks just as stunning with a T-shirt and leggings as over evening clothes. The reticule (drawstring bag) is typical of the same period. This easy sew pouch closes with decorative cording and is embellished with a tassel that hangs from the bottom.
