Mountain Pose Pants

How much do I love these pants?! I got the PDF pattern free as mentioned in the post… The pattern was straightforward to stick together. I had to shorten it for a 27″ leg and added a yoga waistband as that is my personal preference. I also always have to make a full seat adjustment so I did that too.

They sewed up very quickly indeed. I used my overlocker but you could use a regular sewing machine instead. I have said that they are for an adventurous beginner as you would need to have an understanding of sewing with stretch fabrics. My only difficulty was finding the seam allowance …. in the end I did a 1cm seam allowance.

They are a really comfy, good fit. As you can see on the manufacturers photo they are low rise so I think next time I will raise it slightly as I would prefer them to sit higher. I already have plans and fabric for three more pairs. Great pattern! Thank you Hey June for the freebie .
