Buy the Bristol Dress sewing pattern from Orageuse. Bristol is a loose fitting shift dress that finishes mid thigh with some shaping at the waist. It has a high collar with two options: either buttoned at the side and shoulder or buttoned at the shoulder and tied at the neck.

What we think: We like the relaxed fit of this dress and think it could look great in a fine suiting or a crepe making it a great option for the office.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a supple light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, silk, wool and Tencel are all appropriate. You can opt for crepe or poplin, a flannel that is not too thick or even a chambray!

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 140 – 170 cm (55″ – 67″) // 110 cm (45″) wide fabric: 160 – 230 cm (63″ – 90.5″).

Sizing: EU 34 – 46 (approx. UK 6 – 16). Please check the size chart.

Notions: Matching thread; fusible interfacing, 75 cm wide x 30 cm (29.5″ x 11.8″); 1 cm (0.4″) buttons: 7 for the buttoned collar (A) and 5 for the tied collar (B).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; pattern files for A0, A4, and US letter size paper. The patterns are layered so you can print only the size(s) you need.
