SEW THE TRENDS – WINTER 2018

Kate Underdown

Today we are bringing you the next instalment of our blog series where we go onto the high street and discover the latest fashion trends. We then find the perfect patterns for you to sew the look. This time it’s all about planning your autumn wardrobe and we have loads of looks for you to sew this season’s hottest shapes.

Be inspired by the latest fashion trends to sew your own handmade wardrobe.

Having looked back at my summer trends post I have to say that the silhouettes have largely stayed the same for the coming winter months. My big take away from the research I did is that this season is all about texture. When sewing a handmade wardrobe picking the fabric is just as important as the sewing pattern, it brings your make to life. Alongside the pattern picks for this video I also noticed five core fabric trends that will make sure your makes are hot off the high street this winter.
