A fuss-free wardrobe needs to have a selection of carefree, comfortable pieces that you can just throw on with minimal effort and planning. This is especially true when the weather hots up and in the UK, you have to snatch the chance to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

One of my go-to garments in the summer is an easy-breezy skirt. You can pair it with t-shirts, button-down shirts and even sweatshirts and light-weight knits when it’s a little cooler. We have so many lovely skirt styles in the shop, I thought I’d round up a few with different silhouettes to cater to every preference. Enjoy!

I just made this pattern and I think it’s going to be my skirt of the summer! The Chalk and Notch Evelyn Skirt has two fits – the first is fitted at the waist, has side buttons and can be made with a mini or midi hem and the second has an adjustable elastic waist.

I made the elastic waist style and I really like the flat front centre and elasticated sides and back. It’s a super comfortable style!

Sizing: UK 8 – 30
