Winter Dress of Dreams

This pattern is perfect, from the packaging to the weight of the paper pattern, to the well written instructions and the final product. I made this out of a cotton viscose from Seasalt and it suits the style of dress so well. The pattern is versatile though and can also be sewn in heavier fabrics. I sized down as I wanted to make sure it didn’t balloon on me and I’m glad I did. The neck darts are a really pretty detail (though they don’t show up well in this fabric) and are easily sewn. It was a very quick make and there aren’t any tricky steps of fastenings or buttonholes. I really recommend this and will be making a few more for the winter!
