Buy the Grace Dress sewing pattern from Marsha Style. Grace is a vintage-inspired sundress in two versions, the components of which can be mixed and matched as you please. It includes two cup size options: A-C and D-F.

View A is a midi-length sundress with long functional shoulder ties. It features a scooped neckline (front and back), a fully-lined bodice with bust darts, and a gathered skirt with side-seam pockets and a deep hem. The inside is cleanly finished with optional French seams.

View B features straps that button in the back. It has a fully-lined bodice with bust darts, a waist casing with ties that thread through and tie at the sides, and a midi-length tiered skirt with side-seam pockets.

Bonus: The pattern now includes print-at-home pattern pieces for a square neck hack (the yellow dress in the image gallery)!

Very good pattern with one caveat

This is a lovely pattern and it’s pretty fun to sew. I do want to point out that the finished garment measurements for the bust only offer about an inch of positive ease. I’m a 34 inch bust (b-cup), so I graded between sizes 4 & 6, sewed at the appropriate seam allowance, and the bodice came out much too tight. I unpicked my side seams, stitched at about a 1/6” seam allowance, and managed to make it work. But according to my measurements, I should have fit perfectly between the 4 & 6.

I typically have the opposite problem with sundresses (usually wind up with more positive ease than I want), so I thought I’d note this here for anyone who happens upon the pattern!
