The saga of the Besharl Jacket

A review of Style Arc Besharl Jacket

I have already written an extensive review of my saga with the Besharl Jacket, so I’ll be brief here. I originally made it two years ago and made the mistake of making the neckband not wide enough (it has to be cut to fold in the width and I didn’t notice that). It took me two years to realize, it was a bigger mistake than I thought it was. I fixed that, plus improved minor fit issues and now I’ve ended up making three jackets. One in stable knit (my fixed original make), one in crinkly double gauze and one in linen (seen here). Here is the link to the post with all the details plus some tutorials on how to get a nice finish inside.
