Rise and Fall Turtleneck

I made a size XXS because I wanted it to be quite fitted so I could wear it as a base layer. It fits perfectly, I didn’t need to make any modifications except adding about 2″ in length to the sleeves.

I started with 1.5 yards of a wool jersey blend with quite a lot of stretch. I still have lots of fabric left over.

This was my first pattern sewn in a jersey so I was a little nervous, but it came together lovely. I didn’t have any trouble at all following the instructions or constructing the garment.

Including time for tracing the pattern, tracing onto my fabric, cutting out and sewing I would say its probably a 2-3 hour make.
