Needed a few tweaks but super happy.

Here’s my Pleaides 1 dress.

I made quite a few alterations to the pattern as I’d read mixed reviews around sizing. I sized down as I wanted to have a fitted bodice – some of the reviews say that you can get this on without needing the zip if you cut the size of your measurements.

For this version, I also straightened out the skirt pieces so that there wasn’t so much volume as I wanted to add a flounce to the bottom of the skirt.

This is now one of my favourite dresses and I can’t wait to wear it – I love the lantern sleeves – they’re a great way to add a bit of volume to the sleeves without them being huge. I also like the depth of the V neck.
