McCalls Misses’ Dresses 7116

A review of McCalls Dresses M7116

I’ve made this dress twice to date, in quick succession! It’s such a simple make – a rushed bra-let type bodice and a bias cut skirt which skims not clings. I took the precaution of edgestitching all the pieces as soon as they were cut out to help prevent stepretching out during handling and sewing, as well as cutting out on the single fold.
The neckline is simply a folded over elastic casing and there is a standard zip sewn into the side seam.
For more info on its construction, a full post is now up on my blog!
