Lucida Dress

I made the Lucida Dress in a gorgeous Stretch Velvet after being inspired by the photographs used for the pattern, but any stretch fabric would be suitable. It was a very simple dress to make with no notches or markings except for on the front where the ties attach to the dress. Everything matched well and sewed up easily. Overall the fit was lovely but being tall I added 2 inches to the length and im glad I did. I would definitely make another, perhaps in a plain ponte for a simple easy to wear day dress.
