Lovely result – McCalls M8295

I used this pattern to make an outfit for my daughter. The fabric is a John Louden batik from Pound fabrics in 100 cotton. I don’t use the commercial patterns very often so didn’t understand one of the steps but worked around this by adding binding around the neckline to cover my mistake (lesson learned for next time!) & the end result is lovely. I highly recommend this pattern, especially if you know your way around a McCalls pattern! My daughter has received so many compliments whenever she wears it.
