Lovely Lined Vest

Very nice pattern. It is hard to find a lined vest pattern .

I made this Hathor from wool fabric which I hand-wove especially for a vest. I lined it in a jersey knit. I made a size 46 but I think I should have gone at least 2 sizes smaller. I found the instructions adequate but not stellar. The collar instructions especially could have been more clear. I changed the pockets to slanted patch pockets because I wanted to more easily rest my hands in them. I also made the pockets bigger and lined and turned them before sewing on.

I will probably make this again since I wear this type of vest daily in the winter. I will probably use a woven lining next time to avoid the stretching of the jersey against my woven outer fabric.
