Jumpy Shorts and Trousers PDF review

I was pleasantly surprised how well these fit, and how flattering they are even with the narrow leg and a bulky waist tie which I wouldn’t have thought would look good on me. It is a really lovely pattern, although light on instructions. I made a toile, and I messed up the pockets, not because it’s complicated, but because the instructions are sparse and I didn’t concentrate enough since I am used to working with patterns with more detailed instructions. I would also have liked a bit more guidance about how to tie the trousers, but it wasn’t hard to work out. I really loved not having any zips or button holes to insert, which make these great beginners trousers.

All in all, I really love this pattern and will definitely be making more this summer.
