I didn’t add a photo as the trousers are in my “failure – try again later” pile. I am a bit frustrated with the sizing on this pattern. I dutifully followed all the steps (omitting the welt pockets and coin pocket, which seemed to be just for looking good, who needs welt pockets as well as side pockets?). I dutifully added the pocket facings, the fly facing and fly shield, All looking good, then when I constructed the trousers with side and crotch seams, they were WAY too big, nothing like the finished garment measurements shown on the pattern envelope. Now to make them fit I will have to unpick the fly shield and fly facing and zip OR the pocket facings. Hence stashing them in my failure pile. I can’t face unpicking all that work at the moment.
