beautiful dress

I watch the edit religously, hoping to find that perfect pattern, and last week the Vivi dress was highlighted, it was exactly what i was looking for, so purchased.

on checking the pattern I was between size 20 / 22, so as it was my 1st try I cut out a 22, it fits to perfection, although i do think if you are not between sizes, it will be the perfect fit in your usual size.  The pattern is so easy to put together with one of the easiest collars i have ever sewn.

The dress has waist darts, which just add that extra shaping to stop it being boxy.  Im really pleased with my 1st try and already have material drying for a 2nd.

i made the sleeveless full length version, but will also make both other views.
