The review is about Regina pants in TAUKO magazine Issue No. 5. I did the pants without adding gussets to the sides. Gussets are added to the pattern pieces as separate pieces as well. I love this pattern. I did make a toile with rose coloured bed sheet and they also came out as a wearable toile. I did add drawstring to rose coloured pants. I did make also a corduroy pair in papaya colour. The fabric is from Merchant and Mills and it is so perfect quality. Soft inside and so lovely to handle. Pants show their construction and shape with this fabric and with drape of this fabric. They do that also with cotton bed sheet;) Corduroy is very light weight though but perfect for the pattern. The pattern is nicely drafted. With small hints of shaping it gives the aimed outcome. To the corduroy pair at the back I cut nap going up and in front to go down. I also cut pockets from cross grain. This was due to get everything cut out from the fabric. Which was a little bit short to be cutting out nap to go to same direction in front and back pattern pieces. I did elastic to the waistband as was suggested. I also cut cuffs to the ancles and shortened lenght of the pants about 5 cm. I also changed shape of the ancle to get cuffs but otherwise I followed the pattern. I did size 4. And that was due to hip measurement that was suggested.  As the waistband has to come over hips while dressing on and off. Otherwise size is also perfect. I am 5’7 . The pants are very easy to sew. With sizing I did have some difficulties but otherwise with some knowledge of sewing they are also very easy to make. There are instructions to gussets as well. There are pleats at back to give shape and lovely big pockets on both sides. I love the shape. Instructions could be little bit more helpfull while choosing a size.
