Artemis Coat – i Am patterns

I knew I wanted to make this up as soon as I saw the pattern. It was the first time I had used a pattern from I AM PATTERNS but I found the instructions easy to follow and was a really good quick sew with only a few pattern pieces. I think it makes a really great beginner jacket pattern. I didn’t make any adjustments to it as I didn’t mind the oversized fit of it, and decided to add on gold buttons as I liked the option of being able to wear it open or buttoned depending on what I was pairing it with. I also really like the fact that they offer a bonus lining pattern for free which is what I used to do mine in the red gingham. Overall a great pattern if you are looking for a comfortable jacket that you can just throw on with anything.
