Refreshingly different pant/trouser pattern

I’m a big fan of Marsha Style patterns and so was very excited when Taree announced a pants pattern. I should state, I was part of the testing team and so got early access. These opinions are my own and are honest.

The first thing that’s great about these is the mid rise.. I’m over high waists and so this was refreshing. Add to that the cool detail that’s on the front of these and I was instantly taken my them.

Making them was straightforward and so was the fit. I didn’t need to make any adjustments to the crotch – this is a first for me! I made a 1″ reduction to both the front and back rise, which is a standard adjustment for me, and it was great. I am usually a 16 in Marsha Style patterns – all dresses to this point. For these I made an 18 at the waist and graded to 14 at the hip and leg.
