A breezy dress that will become a work staple

As usual, this SOI pattern is easy to follow, and it’s a nice satisfying make. I like how breezy it is in this cotton lawn while being relatively close fit.

I made a 16-20-16 with an FBA. The most complicated element in putting it together was the facing and lapel, which is attached as one piece around the back of the neck and down the placket, with the upper part of the collar attached ahead of this. I found the explanation really clear, so as long as you’ve marked it properly and are following the seam allowance it should come together without much trouble.
