Saunio Cardigan

I sewed the Saunio cardigan in rayon-nylon-spandex ponte. It was a great match for the relaxed cardigan — not too much drape and not too much body.

What I liked: Saunio is a fast-sewing, versatile pattern. You can belt it for waist definition, or let the facings flip out as lapels on a relaxed blazer.

What could be better: The instructions are lean. The instructions should suggest basting the facing before topstitching it in place.
