True Bias Casey Boxer Short and Pant

Buy the Casey Boxer Short and Pant sewing pattern from True Bias. Casey is a boxer short or PJ pant with two rise options. Views B and D feature a high-rise elastic waist hitting at the natural waistline, while Views A and C are mid-rise sitting a couple of inches below the natural waist. Views A and B are a classic boxer short style with a 3" inseam and a small slit at the side seam. Views C and D are pyjama pants with an approximate 29" inseam. All views have optional in-seam pockets and a faux fly with two buttons.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, cotton voile, shirting, linen, rayon and silk.

Fabric requirements: Extra fabric may be needed to match plaids, stripes or other bold prints.

Sizes 0 – 18

Views A and B: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 yd (1.4 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.2 yd (0.9 - 1.1 m).

Views C and D: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 3 yd (2.7 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.6 yd (2 - 2.4 m).

Sizes 14 – 32  

Views A and B: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 - 2.3 yd (1.4 - 2.1 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 1.2 - 1.8 yd (1.1 - 1.6 m).

Views C and D: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 3 - 4.2 yd (2.7 - 3.8 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.6 - 3.2 yd (2.4 - 2.9 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 18 or US 14 – 32 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20 or UK 16 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. The 14 – 32 block has a slightly more curvy set of dimensions than the 0 – 18 block. The 14 – 32 block has a 1" larger difference between the waist and hip circumference. Both size ranges are drafted for an average height of 5'5".
