Note: To save paper, the pattern does not include the full midi skirt pattern pieces (simple rectangles). Instructions are provided for drawing the pieces directly onto your fabric.

Suggested fabrics: The shift dress works best in medium weight woven fabrics that hold their shape, such as linen, cotton twill, lightweight canvas, or jacquard. For the other versions, use light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, lawn, seersucker, double gauze, linen and blends, viscose (rayon).

140 cm (56") wide fabric: Shift top, 0.8 - 1.2 m (7/8 - 1 3/8 yd) // Shift dress, 1.2 - 2.1 m (1 3/8 - 2 3/8 yd) // Peplum top, 1.2 - 1.6 m (1 3/8 - 1 3/4 yd) // Tiered midi dress, 3 - 3.3 m (3 1/4 - 3 5/8 yd).

115 cm (45") wide fabric: Shift top, 1.1 - 1.4 m (1 1/4 - 1 5/8 yd) // Shift dress, 1.8 - 2.1 m (2 - 2 3/8 yd) // Peplum top, 1.6 - 1.8 m (1 3/4 - 2 yd) // Tiered midi dress, 3.2 - 3.7 m (3 1/2 - 4 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 34. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: One 8-10 mm (5/16-3/8") button with shank; 2.5 m (2 3/4 yd) of 5-12 mm (1/4-1/2") wide iron-on stay tape or bias-cut strips of lightweight interfacing; 2.5 m (2 3/4 yd) of 12 mm (1/2") wide single-fold bias binding OR 0.4 m (1/2 yd) of cotton lawn or poplin to make your own.
