Buy the Brigitte Top sewing pattern from Tessuti Fabrics. Brigitte is a classic fitted boat neck (bateau) top with set-in sleeves. The pattern includes four sleeve length options: cap, elbow, three-quarter and full length.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:

Suggested fabrics: Viscose/elastane jersey, cotton/elastane jersey, lightweight ponti knit.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Short/cap sleeve, 0.70 - 0.90 m // Elbow length sleeve, 1.10 m // Three-quarter sleeve, 1.15 - 1.25 m // Full length sleeve, 1.25 - 1.35 m.

Sizing: AUS 6 – 16 (approx. UK 8/10 – 18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 2.5 mm stretch twin needle.

Brigitte Top - Tessuti fabrics

This is my fifth version of the Brigitte tee. I made the size 14 but think I might go down to the 12 if I make it again.

The pattern features a high boat neckline which I re-drafted to lower the front. On this version I dropped the centre front by approx. 1" and then graded back to the shoulders. The high neckline does mean it isn't really a top you can wear underneath things as the neckline always shows. I also lengthened the bodice by 1" to allow me to turn under a deeper hem.

I think the Tessuti patterns are really great value for money. They aren't fancily packaged but that means you get great designs at an affordable price.

This is a quick tee to sew as it only has 3 pattern pieces. The neckline is easy enough to re-draft to you preference and you get 4 different sleeve options. More on my blog >> http://holmsown.co.uk/brigitte-top-in-flowered-engrams/
