Buy the Ornella Top sewing pattern from Spaghetti Western Sewing. The Ornella Top is inspired by lowbrow tourist T-shirts, hot fries, cold drinks, open-air dance floors with disco balls, and ketchup stains that add a little je ne sais quoi to the outfit.

Ornella is a cropped tank featuring a high neck, scooped armscye, and bralette-shaped cutout. The neckline is designed to sit at the base of your collarbone, and the side seam hem is designed to hit around your upper hip bone. Ornella should fit snuggly around your neck/arm area and gradually loosen to an A-line/trapeze style rounded hem.

Including bias binding: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2.25 yd (1 - 2.1 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2 yd (1 - 1.8 m).

Without bias binding (assuming you will use alternative fabric to make binding): 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 0.75 - 1.5 yd (0.7 - 1.4 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 0.75 - 1.5 yd (0.7 - 1.4 m).

Sizing: 3XS – 3XL (approx. UK 8 – 38, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a 5'2" (157 cm) tall person.

Notions: Button // Optional: small snaps for bra stays; thick thread such as quilting or topstitching thread for thread loop; substitute 50" (127 cm) single fold bias tape for neckline bias to make bow closure.
