Simplicity Vintage Dress S9465

Buy the S9465 1950's Vintage Dress sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. This Vintage 1950's dress has buttons that trim the triangular neckline and skirt with pleats on either side. View A has three-quarter sleeves, detachable collar and cuffs. View B has short sleeves and pointed cuffs.

Suggested fabrics: Rayon, Silk, Lightweight Wool, Linen, Cotton. Contrast in Cotton, Pique, Rayon.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12– 20/22) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. One 14" (35.5cm) zipper, two small round shoulder pads, twelve 3/4" (2cm) buttons, one hook and eye. Also for A: 1/2yd. (0.50m) of 1/2" - 1 1/4" (1.3cm - 3.2cm) ribbon. Optional for A,B: One pkg. of 1/2" (1.3cm) extra wide double fold bias tape, one pkg. of 1/2" (1.3cm) wide seam binding, one 1 1/4" (3.2cm) wide belt buckle.
