Buy the S9448 vintage 1940's dickey set sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. View A has tucked bodice and bow-tied collar. View B shows a tailored notched collar. View C includes top stitched collar. View D has lace trimmed collar and jabot. View E features scalloped centre front. View F has tucked shawl collar with lace detail.

Sizing: A (S-M-L) which is approx. UK sizes A (6/8 - 14/16) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. 5/8 yd. (0.6m) of 1/2" (1.3cm) elastic. A: Four 1/2" (1.3cm) buttons, two 1/4" (6mm) snaps. B: One 5/8" (1.5cm) button, one 1/4" (6mm) snap. C: Three 1/4" (6mm) snap. C: Three 1/4" (6mm) snaps. C-1 Collar:  One hook and eye OR decorative pin, one pkg. of 1/2" (1.3cm) wide single fold bias tape. D: 3 yds. of 5/8" (1.5cm) flat lace trim (for collar and jabot), four 1/2" (1.3cm) wide buttons, one 1/4" (6mm) snap. D-1 Collar: 1 3/8 yds. (1.30m) of 5/8" (1.5cm)wide flat lace trim, one hook and eye OR decorative pin, one pkg. of 1/2" (1.3cm) wide single fold bias tape. E: Six 5/8" (1.5cm) buttons, one 1/4" (6mm) snap. F: One 3/4" (2cm) button, one 1/4" (6mm) snap, 3 1/8 yds. (2.90m) of 5/8" (1.5cm) wide flat lace trim.
