Suggested fabrics: Chambray, cotton types, lightweight denim, linen types, shirtings. A,B also in silky types. B,D in lengthwise-striped fabrics.

I had fun with stripes on this one, trying for them to draw the eye to my “waist” but I think I came closer to channeling Ginger Spice in her Union Jack dress from ‘97 ?
The top and skirt work perfectly to expose only that part of my mum tum that has slim to no chance of rolling
I cut straight size 10 and it all fit ok but pattern pieces on my version had an error and the waistband didn’t match so I had to re-cut it. Other than that very satisfying make.
