Secret pyjamas!

This is a great pattern if you're looking for a fairly simple project and a super comfy dress!

The instructions are pretty good - they're not as thorough as some indie patterns would be, but I felt like they were more detailed than commercial patterns often are. I didn't have any trouble making the dress.

The sizing is generous - my bust measurement is just slightly above the medium range (but below the large), and my waist and hips are firmly in the large range but I made a medium and there's plenty of room to spare. It's definitely worth checking the finished garment measurements (on the pattern paper) to see which size would be best for you.

I lengthened the pattern, which is standard for me (I'm 5'9") - I added 2" to the bodice and 1" to the skirt.

If I make this dress again (a definitely possibility!), I'd probably either shorten the sleeves or make them slightly slimmer. The sleeves are quite long - from the pattern illustrations it looks like they're meant to be slouchy, but my wrists/hands are proportionately small so the sleeves tend to hang down over my hands.

The fabric I used is a brushed French terry. It was lovely to work with, is a good weight for this dress and feels great to wear!
