Buy the Viola Dress and Blouse sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The latest addition to Sew Over It's vintage collection, Viola features a button up front, flat collar, gathers at the waist and shoulder, a lined back yoke, slightly dropped shoulder and wide waistband. The pièce de résistance is the shirred panel at the back, which makes Viola comfortable to wear whilst giving you a beautiful fitted look.

Make Viola as a high-waist blouse to pair with high-waisted bottoms like the Peggy Trousers, or sew yourself a beautiful Viola dress. The midi skirt gathers into the waistband to mirror the bodice and closes with buttons down the front. And yes, it has pockets!

You can pick between two sleeve lengths for both versions: a short sleeve with a turn-up or a longer sleeve gathered into a cuff. Choose fabrics with structure such as cotton poplin or chambray for a crisp Viola, or something drapey like viscose or crepe for a softer look.
