Buy the Zoe Coat and Jacket sewing pattern from Sew.lala Patterns. Zoe is a loose-fitting coat or jacket with a straight body and dropped shoulders. The minimalistic design makes it the perfect canvas for playful colours, exciting prints, or classy textures. Zoe can be sewn in three lengths, lined or unlined. The short option ends at the waist, the mid length option ends below the bottom, and the long option ends at the knee. The pattern includes two pocket variations (welt pockets and rounded patch pockets) and an optional belt. With lots of fabric options, Zoe is the perfect throw-on coat for every season and occasion.

Suggested fabrics: Woven fabrics. Different fabric qualities and weights are possible, from light to medium weight fabrics with a nice drape to sturdier coating fabrics or boiled wool.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Short, 1.8 - 2.3 m (2 - 2.5 yd) // Lining short, 1.4 - 1.8 m (1.6 - 2 yd) // Mid length, 2 - 2.5 m (2.2 - 2.8 yd) // Lining mid length, 1.5 - 2 m (1.7 - 2.2 yd) // Long, 2.5 - 2.9 m (2.8 - 3.2 yd) // Lining long, 1.8 - 2.4 m (2 - 2.7 yd).

If using a non-directional fabric, you may be able to cut crossgrain and significantly reduce the amount of fabric needed.

Sizing: 1 – 7 (approx. 6 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
