Buy the Martha Skirt sewing pattern from Sew.lala Patterns. Martha is a feminine skirt with a classic design reminiscent of the 70s. The elastic waistband ensures a comfortable fit, and it has roomy side pockets. Martha can be made with or without a button placket and an optional tier.

Suggested fabrics: Woven fabrics. If you want a little more structure, linen, poplin and crisp cottons are perfect. If you want a breezy look, flowy fabrics made of viscose, washed linen or silk in a lightweight quality work well.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Views A and C, 1.9 - 2.2 m (2.1 - 2.5 yd) // View B, 2.6 m (2.9 yd) // View D, 2.7 m (3 yd).

Sizing: EU 32 – 60 (approx. UK 6 – 32/34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Lightweight fusible interfacing for button placket and waistband (when sewing with lightweight flowy fabric); 4 cm wide flat elastic for waistband; 10 mm buttons, 11 for View C or 8 for View D.
