Buy the Sourdough Top sewing pattern from Sew Bake Make. The Sourdough Top is the perfect spring and summer staple. It features a high boat neckline and multiple options.

View A is a crop length that hits around the natural waist. It features adjustable drawstrings at the waist, and the neckline and armholes are finished with bias tape. View B is the same as View A, but features an elasticated waist.

Views C and D have a slightly swung out side seam, and the hem is finished with a wide facing. The neckline is also finished with a facing, and the armholes are finished with bias tape. View C is a crop length, while View D is full length.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight (4-6 oz / 135-203 gsm) woven fabrics such as linen, linen blends, cotton voile, or cotton blends. Views C and D work well with both lighter weight and heavier weight fabrics such as denim, but the designer suggests not using anything over 7 oz (238 gsm).

Fabric requirements: 

View A: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 2 yd (1.4 - 1.9 m) // 54" (1.4 m) wide fabric: 1 1/4 - 2 yd (1.1 - 1.9 m).

View B: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 3 1/4 yd (1.4 - 2.9 m) // 54" (1.4 m) wide fabric: 1 - 2 3/4 yd (1 - 2.5 m).

View C: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 1 1/3 - 2 1/4 yd (1.2 - 2 m) // 54" (1.4 m) wide fabric: 1 1/4 - 1 7/8 yd (1.1 - 1.7 m).

View D: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 2 - 2 1/2 yd (1.9 - 2.2 m) // 54" (1.4 m) wide fabric: 1 1/3 - 2 1/3 yd (1.2 - 2.1 m).

Sizing: 00 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for someone who is 5'6" (167.5 cm) tall and a B cup.
