Buy the Hortense Shirt sewing pattern from Ready to Sew. Hortense captures the effortless laid-back elegance of a men's shirt casually tied over a dress or jeans.

With its fluid drape and relaxed fit, it plays with contrasts. From the back, it has that nonchalant, borrowed-from-the-boys feel, while the front features the femininity of a wrap-style neckline. The wrist openings, easier to sew than traditional cuff plackets, add a contemporary touch. Hortense strikes the perfect balance between masculine and feminine elements, creating a silhouette that’s both confident and sensual.

It’s the kind of shirt you knot over a dress for a bohemian touch or pair with high-waisted jeans for a casual-chic vibe. A statement piece with ease and attitude.
