Buy the Pine Raglan Sweatshirt sewing pattern from Paradise Patterns. This classic sweatshirt has a comfortable, oversized fit. The neckband is slightly chunkier than a standard crewneck, giving the sweatshirt a vintage and unisex feel. View A is hip length, while View B has a cropped hem. You can choose to make the whole sweatshirt in one fabric, or use a rib knit for the neckband, waistband and cuffs.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern is best suited to sweatshirt knits such as French terry and fleece, but you may also use a waffle knit or heavy weight jersey. If you choose to use the same fabric for the main body and edges, the fabric needs to have at least 50% crossgrain stretch and 3% (or more) elastane/spandex. If you’re using a rib knit for the neckband, waistband and cuffs, the main fabric doesn’t need stretch. The rib knit should have at least 3% elastane/spandex.

View B: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 - 3 yd (1.4 - 2.7 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.75 yd (0.9 - 1.6 m).

Body only

View A: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1.4 - 2.7 yd (1.3 - 2.5 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.7 yd (0.9 - 1.6 m).
