Oh Me Oh My Pepper Dress and Top

Buy the Pepper Dress and Top sewing pattern from Oh Me Oh My Sewing. Pepper features a fitted bodice with a V-shaped neckline and triangle bust detail. It has a front button closure and options for short or elbow length sleeves. View A is a midi length dress, View B is a knee length dress, and View C is a top.

Note if ordering copy shop printing for sizes 24 and 26: The front ruffle piece is too large to fit on an A0 sheet. You will need to cut this piece (a simple rectangle) using the measurements provided in the instructions. 

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, washed linen, cotton lawn, voile, and rayon challis.

Fabric requirements: 

View A: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric (sizes 00-22 only): 4 - 5.5 yd (3.5 - 5.1 m) // 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: 3 - 4.5 yd (2.8 - 4.1 m).

View B: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.75 - 4.25 yd (2.4 - 3.9 m) // 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 - 3.5 yd (2.2 - 3.1 m).

View C: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 1.25 - 2.25 yd (1.2 - 2.1 m) // 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.25 yd (1 - 1.2 m).

Sizing: 00 – 26 (approx. UK 6/8 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Note that this pattern is drafted to have no ease at the waist, so if you're between sizes or just like a little more wiggle room consider sizing up.

Notions: Four to twelve buttons; 40" (1 m) of single fold bias tape (approx. 1" / 2.5 cm wide unfolded); 1/2 yd (0.4 m) of 1/4" (6 mm) wide elastic; 1/4 yd (0.2 m) of lightweight iron-on interfacing.
