Named Salla Sweater Dress

Buy the Salla Sweater Dress sewing pattern from Named. Salla is a wonderfully simple midi-length knit dress with a straight cut, chunky turtleneck, and wrist-length raglan sleeves. The relaxed sleeves taper towards the wrist, and the waist is accentuated with a wide belt, which is held in place with belt loops.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a medium weight knit fabric with approximately 50% stretch. Make sure the fabric you use is a soft, reasonably drapey and loose knit, for example a soft cotton cable knit. 

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.

150 cm (60") wide fabric: 235 - 370 cm (2 5/8 - 4 yd).

115 cm (45") wide fabric: 340 - 425 cm (3 3/4 - 4 5/8 yd).

Sizing: XS – XXL (approx. UK 4/6 – 26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has been drafted for a 172 cm (5'8") tall person.

Notions: Optional fusible knit interfacing, 205 cm (2 1/4 yd). Use interfacing only if your fabric is very stretchy, light and drapey.
