Channels with tie fastenings create a gathered effect at the shoulders and below the bust. The shoulder ties allow the gathering to be adjusted, while the curved waist channels introduce soft shaping through the front without reducing the overall volume. The ties are finished with bows, adding a fun feminine detail.

The top is cleanly finished throughout for a polished result. The neck and armholes are finished with binding, and the side seams open into splits to create air flow and allow easy access to trouser pockets.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton lawn/poplin, cotton twill, lightweight cotton, linen, tencel blends. Lighter shirting fabrics are ideal, offering enough structure to hold the shape while remaining soft and workable.

Fabric requirements: This pattern is designed specifically for a fabric width of 150 cm. Narrower widths such as 110 cm will not accommodate the pattern layout.

150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.2 - 1.45 m (1 1/4 - 1 5/8 yd).

Sizing: UK 4 – 28 (approx. UK 4/6 – 26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a cup size 'C'.
