Buy the Cilla Pants sewing pattern from Me & Kiddo Patterns. These relaxed fit pants feature a high waist, straight leg, and plenty of room for everyday movement. Designed with comfort and versatility in mind, Cilla has an elasticated waist with an adjustable tie and options for front slash pockets, back pockets, and cargo pockets. Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabrics such as denim, twill, canvas, linen, and similar fabrics.

For denim, choose fabrics up to 270 gsm (8 oz). If you're making your pants in denim, the designer highly recommends using a lighter weight fabric for the pocket linings. If you choose denim, make sure the fabric is soft and flexible enough to gather comfortably at the waist. For denim versions, the designer also recommends using ready-made cord for the waist tie.

Fabric requirements:

140 cm (55.5") wide fabric: 2.3 - 3.2 m (2.5 - 3.4 yd).

122 cm (48") wide fabric: 3.1 - 3.4 m (3.4 - 3.7 yd).

Sizing: A – I (approx. UK 6/8 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 4 cm (1.6") wide elastic, enough for your waist; two small pieces of interfacing // Optional: ric rac trim, 3 m/yd for sizes A-D or 3.5 m/yd for sizes E-I.
