Buy the Midtown Jeans sewing pattern from Les Perlines. With comfort and durability in mind, the Midtown Jeans have been specifically designed to be sewn in stretch denim/woven fabrics. The stretch not only adds comfort, it also helps the jeans retain their shape, avoiding the dreaded sagging 1 hour into your day.

The Midtown Jeans have a high waist, wide leg silhouette and come with all the classic jeans features: a back yoke and patch pockets, front pockets, and a zipper fly.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Mid to heavyweight woven fabrics (8 oz / 271 gsm and up) with 1 or 2% of stretch (in the fabric composition). Fabrics like denim or corduroy are ideal for this project.

Fabric requirements: 

152 cm (60") wide fabric: 2.1 - 2.8 m (2.3 - 3 yd).

114 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.4 - 3.1 m (2.6 - 3.4 yd).

Sizing: AA – O (approx. UK 6/8 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 0.4-0.5 m/yd of knit interfacing; 0.3 m/yd of mid weight woven fabric for the pocket bags; metal zipper; one jeans button.
