Buy the No. 34 San Marino Jumpsuit sewing pattern from How to Do Fashion. Inspired by women's leisurewear of the 1940s, this jumpsuit is equally perfect for a day at the beach and an evening event. 

Both versions have wide shoulder straps, a button placket at the front, elastic shirring at the back, and wide legs with welt pockets at the side seams. Version 1 has an additional bust detail and legs with side seam slits.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, silk, wool, viscose, cupro, linen or polyester. Not suitable for jersey.

Fabric requirements:

Version 1: 120 cm wide fabric (sizes 32-46 only): 3.2 - 3.4 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 3 - 3.6 m.

Version 2: 120 cm wide fabric (sizes 32-48 only): 3 - 3.4 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 2.8 - 3.5 m.

Sizing: EU 32 – 54 (approx. UK 6/8 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 0.35 m of pocket lining; 0.5 m of interfacing; five 2-2.5 cm buttons; elastic thread for shirring; 1 m of 1 cm wide elastic (the designer recommends underwear elastic); heat or water erasable pen for shirring.
