Buy the Maribel Skirt sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Maribel is an elegant ankle-length skirt with a long back slit. The waist is finished with a facing and has darts at the back for a nice fit. Make your skirt with or without pockets. There are also two zipper options to suit different fabrics: a concealed zip for thinner fabrics, or a closed-end zip for thicker fabrics.

Suggested fabrics: Use fabrics with some firmness. Cotton twill, denim, (imitation) leather, and corduroy are good options. You can also create a nice effect with a supple woollen fabric. Think gabardine, flannel, crepe. Just make sure your fabric is not too thin and light.
Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 165 - 245 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 130 - 235 cm.
Sizing: EU 32 – 60 / US 0 – 28 / UK 4 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.
Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 75 cm; 18 cm closed-end zip (for thicker fabrics) or 22 cm concealed zip (for thinner fabrics).
