Buy the Luki Trousers and Shorts sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Playful, versatile, and just that little bit different, Luki will instantly add interest to your outfit thanks to the insert in the side seam. You can create a pleat at the hem for extra volume, or leave the insert open for a loose, wide leg look. Key features include a shaped waistband with belt loops, zip fly, front side pockets, and back patch pockets. You can also make Luki as a pair of knee-length Bermuda shorts.

Suggested fabrics: Use sturdy fabrics (possibly with a slight stretch) to ensure the garment retains its shape and is comfortable. Think denim, twill, cotton blends, linen blends, or corduroy. Choose heavier fabrics for a sculptural effect, or lighter fabrics for a more relaxed, casual look.

Fabric requirements: 

Trousers: 140 cm wide fabric: 230 - 495 cm.

Bermuda shorts: 140 cm wide fabric: 160 - 280 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 60 / US 0 – 28 / UK 4 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 75 cm; one 1.7 cm (jeans) button; closed-end zip, 12 cm for sizes 4-16 or 15 cm for sizes 18-32.
